EDUCATIONAL PROFILE

INTRODUCTION

The Balagtas Agricultural High School was created through Republic act 7119 dated 22nd of August 1991 by the effort of Cong. Vicente “Jun” Rivera and this school became operational through the openhanded charity of the steemed Mr. & Mrs. Magdalena Cruz and Mr. & Mrs. Lolita Marcelino Families, resulting in the donation of the no less than 5,200 square meters of land.
Because of the paralleled generosity of the mentioned philanthropists, the first five classrooms stood and became the first witnesses to the relentless endeavor to pour out knowledge to the numerous education-hungry youths not from the community of Balagtas, but from the nearby communities as well, the local, provincial and national government each extended their hands in support to BAHS in a gallant show of their firm belief of its being an effective tool in the realization of a strong and progressive community.

A. Institutional Mission

The BALAGTAS AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL (BAHS), Pulong Gubat, Balagtas, Bulacan shall be a training institution that offers a curriculum that cultivates the pursuit of excellence in academic, agriculture, leadership development and high morals in character in its students.
As a Vocational/technical School specialized in agriculture, this encourages to utilize and enhance their skills and abilities to fulfill their maximum potentials. Provides the necessary modern farming methods and technology and extension services that are related to farming which will contribute in the social upliftment and economic growth of the country.

B. Institutional Vision

We envision this school to be the best in providing quality education that will enable the students to become locally and globally competent for the new millennium especially in the field of agriculture movers of society in agri-technology development, public service and business; developing the Cs: COMMITMENT, CHARACTER, and COMPETENCE among the students in maintaining a habit of hard work and sense of responsibility, values necessary for a productive life and excellence dedicated to the service of god and to our country towards spiritually, morally upright citizens.
